Privacy Policy  

The web site located at dentalhygienedirect.com (the "Site") is owned and operated by Dental Hygiene Direct, LLC ("Dental Hygiene Direct"). As part of the normal operation of the Site, we collect and may disclose certain information about you. We are the sole owners of the information collected on the Site. To help protect your privacy, we provide this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") explaining our information collection and disclosure practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.  

This Privacy Policy applies only to the use and collection of personal information about you ("Personal Information") collected by this Site and does not apply to any other data collected by us online or offline. By using or accessing the Site, you represent and warrant that you accept the terms and practices described in this Privacy Policy. 

Information Gathering and Use:

For each visitor to the Site, Dental Hygiene Direct’s web server may automatically recognize the visitor's domain name and IP address. In order to use the Site, a user must first complete the registration process. During registration a user is required to give certain information, which is used to communicate with you about the services on the Site in which you have expressed interest. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who become registered users of our service in order to facilitate communications. We also aggregate information on what pages are accessed and information volunteered by the user, such as survey responses and/or registration information, which may include your name, address, phone number, email address, work history and professional skills. We do not share or otherwise disclose Personal Information except as follows:

  • Job opening details, including the prospective employer’s name and contact information, are available to all registered users and may be viewed by anyone with access to the Internet.
  • On-line job application details, including the prospective employer’s name and contact information, are available only to registered users.
  • Posted resume details, including name and contact information, are only available to registered dentists.

All of the above information may be shared with, or licensed to, our affiliates and/or certain unaffiliated third parties at any time without notice to you.  
 
Personal Information that you have voluntarily entered electronically is delivered to servers located in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of this data to such servers, and to our use of such data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

We may be required to disclose Personal Information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. Additionally, we may share registration or other Personal Information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Site. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.  
 
If the ownership of all or substantially all of the Dental Hygiene Direct business, or control of the corporation, were to change, or in the event of a reorganization, dissolution or bankruptcy, your user information may be transferred to a new owner or trustee as applicable. In any such transfer of information, your Personal Information would remain subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

Permission Based Communications:

Security:

With respect to security, we utilize reasonable security measures to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at the Site.
